The mud recycling system is a critical component in the Horizontal Directional Drill(HDD). As we know drilling fluid is an essential ingredient to HDD success, and on large diameter, long-distance projects, or ones with rocky conditions, contractors will use a lot of it. The volume of drilling fluid required and the rising costs associated with fluid management has led to the widespread use of mud recycling systems.
Recently, two units of mud recycling system have been manufactured and ready to start serving a new HDD project. These systems are pivotal in supporting horizontal directional drill by ensuring efficient treatment of drilling mud.
Each mud recycling system comprises essential components such as the AIPU shale shaker, AIPU desilter cones unit, AIPU submersible slurry pump, mud tank, and electric control panels. Shale shaker is dual deck design, the screen panel can be designed with stainless steel, or polyurethane materials. Based on the separation point, the desilter cones has size of 4” and 6” for choice.
The AIPU submersible slurry pump plays a critical role in maintaining a consistent flow of drilling fluid. The Mud Tank serves as a pivotal storage and processing unit for drilling fluid, accommodating substantial mud volumes while providing a stable base for system components. Its sturdy construction guarantees reliability even in demanding conditions.
Tailored design services always can be achieved from AIPU. The electric control system is variable frequency driven design for these delivered mud recycling system.
AIPU mud recycling systems have been rigorously tested and proven in horizontal directional drill projects. these units consistently deliver exceptional performance. Their robust construction and advanced control systems enable operators to achieve optimal mud quality and operational efficiency even in the most demanding conditions.
