Mud tank system are delivered to workover rig drilling contractor

Recently, we received a positive feedback from our regular customers for mud tank system on their workover drilling rig, which are delivered in 2025 beginning. This mud system comprises drilling fluids shale shaker, desander unit, degasser, mud gas separator, mud agitators, pumps, shale shaker tank, trip tank, and mud mixing tanks.

For oil and gas well drilling, safety equipment mud gas separator usually to be set ahead of shale shakers. If there is a “KICK” situation, this vessel separates the mud and the gas by allowing it to flow over baffle plates. And the gas then is forced to flow through a line and vent it to a flare ignition device. We have two certificates for option, pressure vessel certificate and ASME certificate.

Shale shaker used is AIPU hot sale Hunter series shaker with dual tandem design, strategically placed to effectively remove solids from drilling fluids. These shale shakers are equipped with a box-type dual shaker mud distributor, optimizing the distribution of mud flow across both shakers for enhanced efficiency and performance.

Following the shale shakers is the APZCQ series vacuum degasser, self contained, no need extra jet pump. This vacuum degasser is suitable for various mud recycling system to separate gas from mud, AIPU vacuum degasser is designed to eliminate micro-bubbles and entrained gases from the mud, thereby improving the overall quality and stability of the drilling fluid. also to protect the centrifugal pump from damaged from gas cut mud.

Except for standard mud system supply, AIPU solid control can design custom-built system. As we know different drilling rigs, the system configuration will be differ. Even for a same model of drilling rigs, the whole mud system need to be re-designed as well, as the different job site, space limit, operator’ usage habits, differences in electrical systems and etc. AIPU has an ability to design and manufacture tailored mud circulation system based on our experience.
