Harsh operating environments demand a corrosion resistant shale shaker engineered to withstand the combined effects of corrosive chemistry, extreme temperatures, and abrasive conditions. Aipu Solids Control configures Hunter series shakers for these challenging applications, delivering API Q1 certified quality with protection systems matched to specific environmental threats.

Harsh environments combine multiple equipment-degrading factors simultaneously. High-chloride drilling fluids in desert operations. Acid gas exposure in certain geological formations. Temperature extremes that accelerate chemical reaction rates. Abrasive formations that wear away protective coatings and expose base metal to corrosive attack. Aipu addresses these combined threats through integrated protection strategies rather than treating each factor in isolation.
Integrated Corrosion and Abrasion Protection
In harsh environments, corrosion protection and abrasion resistance must work together. Aipu designs protection systems where the corrosion-resistant foundation material—stainless steel for fluid contact surfaces—provides inherent protection that does not rely on coatings subject to abrasion damage. Composite frame screens eliminate both corrosion and galvanic effects entirely. Where coatings are used, they are selected for combined corrosion and abrasion resistance appropriate to the specific environment. The 6.0G to 7.5G operation of Aipu Hunter series shakers is maintained through these protected components.
Temperature-Extreme Configuration
Harsh environments often include temperature extremes that affect both corrosion rates and material properties. Aipu selects materials and components rated for the complete temperature range of the operating environment. High-temperature-rated vibrating motors from Ital-Vibras, Martin, and Oli maintain performance when standard motors would experience accelerated degradation. Low-temperature-rated materials prevent embrittlement issues in Arctic operations. Seals, gaskets, and lubricants are specified for the complete operating temperature range.
Field-Proven Durability
Aipu equipment has been deployed in harsh environments across more than 30 countries, from Middle Eastern deserts to Arctic operations to tropical regions with combined heat, humidity, and chemical exposure. This broad field experience validates our corrosion resistant designs and provides the application knowledge to configure equipment appropriately for specific harsh environment challenges. Our 50,000 square meter Xi’an facility supports the engineering and manufacturing requirements of specialized environment configurations.
