Understanding how solids control system works requires looking beyond the primary separation stages to the auxiliary equipment that ensures the entire system operates smoothly. Aipu Solid Control integrates these components to maximize reliability, efficiency, and overall system performance.

Before fluid even reaches the shale shaker, entrained gases must be removed to prevent hazards and maintain pump efficiency. The AIPU APLCQ300 vertical degasser, also known as a centrifugal degasser, eliminates small bubbles encapsulated in liquid film. It efficiently separates harmful gases such as hydrogen sulfide and methane from drilling fluid, with a flow rate of 300 m³/h and degassing capacity of 30 m³/h, ensuring safe and stable fluid conditions.
Once solids are removed, the treated drilling fluid requires proper circulation and management. The AIPU APSB series centrifugal pump provides the power needed to transfer mud throughout the system. With efficiency ratings reaching 70%, these pumps deliver reliable performance for feeding downstream equipment. Simultaneously, the AIPU APMA series mud agitator keeps solids suspended in the mud tanks. Featuring single impeller diameters up to 1200mm, it prevents particle deposition and maintains a homogeneous mixture throughout the circulation system.
For specialized applications, Aipu offers targeted solutions. The AIPU APSLH jet mud mixer, powered by centrifugal pumps up to 75kW, handles weighting and preparation of drilling fluid with precision. The shear pump, such as the APJQB6545, delivers high shear efficiency that accelerates polymer hydration and prevents the formation of “fish eyes” that can damage formations. These auxiliary components work in concert with the main separation equipment, creating a complete solids control system that operates with precision and reliability across all drilling conditions.
