Performance testing of shale shaker equipment verifies that units meet specifications and provides baseline data for ongoing operations. Aipu Solids Control conducts comprehensive performance testing as part of our API Q1 certified manufacturing process.

Factory Acceptance Testing Protocol
Every Aipu shale shaker undergoes factory acceptance testing before shipment. The standardized protocol includes a visual inspection verifying assembly to specifications, electrical testing confirming motor operation, control functions, and safety interlocks, vibration measurement documenting amplitude, frequency, and G-force at design operating points, and run-in testing of extended operation to verify stability and identify any developing issues. Test results are documented and provided with equipment documentation, establishing the performance baseline for the specific unit.
Vibration Performance Verification
Vibration characteristics directly determine separation performance. Aipu testing measures displacement amplitude across the screen deck to verify uniform vibration, operating frequency matching motor specifications, acceleration levels confirming design G-force achievement, and motion pattern verification for linear or elliptical configurations. These measurements confirm that the shaker will deliver designed separation performance when installed in the field.
Electrical System Testing
Comprehensive electrical testing verifies motor current draw within specifications, phase balance within acceptable limits, control system function including all operating modes, safety interlock and emergency stop operation, and insulation resistance confirming electrical integrity. Electrical test data provides the baseline for field troubleshooting and confirms safe operation before equipment leaves the factory.
Documentation and Reporting
Complete test documentation supports quality assurance and field operations. Test reports include all measurement data, identification of the specific unit tested, test conditions and equipment used, acceptance criteria and results, and any non-conformances identified and resolved. This documentation demonstrates API Q1 compliance and provides valuable reference information throughout the equipment lifecycle. Customers are encouraged to witness factory acceptance testing when practical.
